Slay School is a language school in Odesa with 15 years of experience and over 1,000 students. We teach English and French to kids and adults — in our classroom at 38 Marselska St and online.

Now we’re launching German and looking for a teacher to help build it: teach lessons, shape the programme and help students start speaking German with confidence.

Responsibilities

  • Teach group and one-to-one German lessons for kids and adults.
  • Run trial lessons: meet new students and assess their level and goals.
  • Choose the programme and materials to suit students’ age, level and goals — from study to relocating and working in Germany.
  • Set homework and track progress.
  • Stay in touch with students and parents.

Requirements

  • German at C1 level or higher.
  • Teaching experience is desirable, including with kids.
  • A degree in languages or education, or a Goethe-Zertifikat, is a plus.
  • Fluent Ukrainian and the ability to explain things simply and clearly.
  • Reliability, punctuality and a love for what you do.

What we offer

  • The school finds students for you — no need to advertise yourself.
  • A cosy classroom in Odesa (38 Marselska St) or online lessons.
  • A flexible schedule within school hours: Mon–Sat 9:00–20:00.
  • Steady pay for every lesson you teach.
  • A friendly team and support from the school’s founder, Anastasiia Sokur.
  • The chance to build a new course area together with the school.
